Frequent this restaurant quite a bit! Especially if with a group the appetizers are great! Bacon Wrapped BBQ Prawns are a favorite, as well as the edamame, spicy tuna roll & sliders. My main entre is always the Seared Ahi Salad! One of the best I've found. It has a slight kick, but the tuna is so fresh and tasty, and the dressing just makes the salad. Highly recommend it!

We recently had a family dinner here. Our waitress was amazing and overall the food was good. We had awesome bacon wrapped shrimp and edamame to start. The shrimp had a nice char on them and the bacon was nicely and crisp. (Every time I order shrimp I think of Eleanor in the Good Place ). As a table we ordered fish tacos, steak and mac & cheese with a fried chicken breast on top. Two of the dishes were solid but nothing exceptional. We will go again but we will skip the fish tacos next time. They were the only disappointing dish we had. Parking was easy (there is more parking around the back of the building) and the vibe was upbeat and casual. This location is a nice option the next time you are in the area.

Ok folks I'm going to be very transparent here so... buckle up. I told my spouse mid-meal that I probably wouldn't be able to "put out" when we got back to the hotel tonight because I had already climax'd hard during my meal! Not kidding. I said it and I meant it! Ok here's the deal, we landed here tonight after going to a different restaurant which is a chain we love and don't get to frequent but which also had an hour long wait at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Can't blame them! But we couldn't wait. So we chose the Thirsty Lion because it's close to our hotel. We walked immediately in and got into a table. Some might say that's an indication it's not doing good business and therefore not good. NOT TRUE!! First up: ambiance. Open layout place with big bar in the middle and TV's everywhere. The difference between this place and a standard sports bar is that while hubby faced the basketball TV, I got to watch amazing music videos while great tunes were playing. P!nk, Chilli Peppers, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, etc. all my favs. And after we sat there for an hour, the lights dropped into night mood lighting which is lovely. Of course the table with kids next to us wasn't thrilled, but the date couple to my right got a little closer, so.... Next: Jay, our server. Good stuff. We were super thirsty after being in AZ heat all day and wanted drinks stat. Multiple waters plus a large carafe arrived with a diet coke and the Blood Orange Cosmo. Nice and clean and cool cocktail. Hit the spot even though the martini glass stem was ridiculously sticky. Didn't stop me from sucking it back while we ordered. Jay was awesome when we told him it was our first time here and he walked us through our choices. For the record, the hostess was also ready to help us understand the menu. Jay was also great at getting the extra mayo, more drinks, and our check quickly. I see him buzzing around serving others but there's nothing worse than being ready to leave and waiting for your check. He was also great at managing the complaint at the table next to us when they complained about the lights lowering. Way to go Jay! Food: sooooooooooooo good. Me: GastroPub Burger, fries and side salad. I think I got hubby's salad dressing and he didn't want to change so I ate it and it was magical. Beautiful light dressing and just the right amount of side salad. Folks, the fries were excellent--just the right amount of crispy fry! And the burger.... Gawd! The ciabatta bun was soft but firm and toasty. Jay had forewarned me about the horseradish sauce spread on bun, I was not afraid and totally wanted more of it! The burger was perfect cook of medium with yummy tiny pink and super juicy. And holy moly, the grilled onions were special--like grilled alongside the meat or something else magical. But wow! And finally, and here's where I literally almost came undone, my second cocktail--Titos Hibiscus Lemonade. Orgasmic! The warm flavor of the spice in the hibiscus tea mixed very subtly with the Malibu and all other ingredients... the ONLY problem with this drink was the too small size of the glass. Hubby: ribeye steak, grilled vegetables with side salad. Said the steak was a perfect medium rare cook and the flavor was amazing. I got a bite and agree!! The dressing on the salad wasn't enough for his liking. And the starter order of Calamari was good but not great. Was just ok. I personally like a little more crunch to fried calamari but I enjoyed the sriracha dipping sauce. So, the reasons for four instead of five stars: Meh calamari Too small but pricey cocktails Otherwise, I will absolutely go back next time I'm in Chandler!

It's weird walking in and seeing the backs of the hostesses. I'm guessing they're trying to be different? They have a cool setup. TVs wrap around the bar. Outside patio was nice. I got a beer cheese soup that was very salty and decadent. Wife's side salad was chilled and flavorful. I decided on fish tacos and they were very good. Steak was cooked like she ordered it. Kids fish and chips were good. In the end nice meal and service. Then the bill came. Wow. I'm well aware of the Biden tax we all pay now but it's pricey for what you get compared to other places.

Sunday brunch! My parents and I came to brunch and my mom and I shared a bottle of Brut with passion fruit and orange juice on the side ($30 + $3.50 for the extra juice). The brunch food menu looked so good, my mom got the breakfast sandwich and my dad got the burrito. I am a sucker for a Caesar salad with blackened salmon and they have a great one! On the salad they are generous on the dressing (which i loved). We sat outside where they have heaters everywhere even over your head. Service is always great we had a great waitress who was sweet to my parents.

We swung by here and had a pretzel which the beer cheese and the mustard were amazing the jam was okay just the right amount of heat I'm just not particular to Sweet dipping sauces. I could see how other people might really like it though. We also had chips and queso the chips were standard the case it was a little gritty and compared to the beer cheese totally not anything to write home about. The grapefruit basil Martini though on point so delish! It was your standard busy night very loud lots of people.
